Storm Tryouts
Are you a women Ultimate player in search of your next challenge? Storm is looking for you!
As you may know, Storm is a women team that has earned a spot at the next World Club Championship to be
held in Prague next summer to represent Canada. In order to have the best team for the upcoming summer, Storm will be holding tryouts to make a first cut. You are ALL invited and we hope to you at the tryouts!
To better manage the tryouts, we would like you to register by filling out the form on the google group https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dGd2OGp4T2VRWDNrdXpyV19XVWVRQmc6MA before February 25th. Can you please provide your AUM, CUPA and UPA number (if you have one, if you don’t – no worries). Please feel free to contact us at stormultimate@gmail.com if you have any questions.

2010 Summer League
The AUM has many projects on the horizon for the upcoming season: modifying the summer league format, integrating the new website, creating regional leagues, etc. We need your help to achieve these goals!
We invite all members who are interested in helping organise the 2010 summer league to a first meeting on February 11th, at 6:30PM, at the AUM office.
2010 Disc design contest
The AUM is holding a contest to find original artwork for its 2010 merchandise.
The prize for the winning entry is $250 plus one of each product that features the artwork. We must receive your design no later than Friday, February 19, 2010, as a .jpg file, by e-mail, including your name and phone number at design@montrealultimate.ca
4 on 4 pick-up
Are you interested in playing in the Montreal en Mars tournament but are not familiar with the 4 on 4 format? You'd like to try it out before committing?
You are registering a team in the Montreal en Mars tournament and need some practice?
The AUM will be organizing 4 on 4 pickup sessions at Loyola dome, field D. Bring a white and a black shirt, your cleats and a water bottle. The schedule will be as follows:
- Wednesday, 3rd of February, 9:45PM
- Wednesday, 10th of February, 9:45PM
- Wednesday, 17th of February, 6:00PM
- Wednesday, 24th of February, 7:15PM
- Wednesday, 3rd of March, 8:30PM

Montreal in March
The second edition of the Montreal en Mars tournament is just around the corner!
The tournament will be held this year under the dome at the Loyola campus on March 6th and 7th.
Again this year, this 4 on 4 tournament is part of the B series tournaments of the CQU4. Do not miss this chance to play against the best teams in Quebec!
One-day Training
The Montreal Ultimate Association (AUM), in collaboration with the Montreal Regional Sport Association, invite you to a one-day training which will cover Ultimate frisbee rules, techniques and strategies.
- This training will take place Saturday the 6th of February or Sunday the 7th of February, at your choice.
- It will be from 10AM to 4PM
- It will be at Lucien-Pagé highschool (8200 boulevard Saint-Laurent Montréal, Québec, H2P 2L8)
RIP Tryouts
RIP, a mixed competitive team, would like to invite all ultimate players to tryouts for its 2010 season! Open tryouts will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 19:45 – 21:15 and Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 19:00 – 21:00 at Bois de Boulogne in Laval (directions: http://www.ultimatemontreal.ca/en/node/290).
